Terms of Use
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These terms cover your use of Pip, a timer app by Callan Watkins.
License
Pip is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins.
Pip Pro subscription (coming soon)
Pip Pro is not available yet. These terms will apply when it launches.
- Pip Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription, priced at $4.99 per month in the US (local prices vary).
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Timers, alarms, widgets and the Lock Screen countdown remain free. When Pro ends, Pip returns to the free limits and nothing you made is deleted.
Use it sensibly
Pip is a convenience timer. Alarms depend on your device, its settings (such as silent mode, Focus and notification permissions) and iOS. Don’t rely on Pip for anything safety-critical, such as medication, medical care or food safety. Pip’s example durations are not cooking or appliance instructions.
No warranty
Pip is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, I’m not liable for losses that come from a timer not ringing or from using the app.
