Quick fixes

My timer didn’t ring
  • Open the timer and tap the bell/phone icon in the top bar. It tells you how that timer is set to alert you.
  • If it says only while Pip is open, allow alarms: Settings in Pip → Alerts → Alert new timers with → System alarm.
  • If alarms are off, open iPhone Settings → Pip and allow Alarms (or choose normal notifications).
  • Normal notifications follow silent mode and Focus. System alarms are designed to ring regardless.
How do I restore Pip Pro on a new iPhone?

Open Pip → Settings → Get Pip Pro → Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with.

How do I cancel Pip Pro?

On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pip. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Apple handles all billing and refunds (reportaproblem.apple.com).

The microphone button doesn’t work

The mic needs microphone and speech-recognition permission, and speech recognition on your iPhone. You can always type, use Manual, or the keyboard’s dictation key instead.

How do I change or remove my name?

Settings → You. Clear the field to remove it. It’s only stored on your iPhone.

Can I move my timers to a new phone?

Settings → Your data → Export my data, then Import on the new phone. Running timers aren’t included.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Reset Pip. This cancels Pip’s alarms and deletes all of Pip’s data on your iPhone.

Pip is a convenience timer. Don’t rely on it for anything safety-critical, such as medication or food safety.
